Why it took nine years

The first drawings for Calibre 9 date from the winter of 2019. The first movement that kept time to our standard was finished in the spring of 2026. Everything between was learning to make parts we had always bought.

The balance spring took three of those years on its own. We now draw and temper it in the workshop, which no house our size had tried.

What you see through the case back is finished by hand on both sides, including the parts nobody will ever see.
