Reserve a pair

§01General arrangement

A studio monitor drawn to ±1.5 dB, not to a trend.

The WF-6 is a two-way active monitor for rooms under 20 m²: a 6.5-inch paper-cone woofer, a 28 mm silk dome, 180 W of class-D and a cabinet of 24 mm birch ply. Every pair ships with its own measured response.

§02Measured

Numbers from our bench, not from a datasheet.

Each WF-6 is swept in the anechoic room at our Leeds workshop before it is boxed. These are the medians of the first 400 units.

    From 60 Hz to 18 kHz, with 1/6-octave smoothing.

§03Rear panel

Everything you touch is on one aluminium plate.

The amplifier, the inputs and the room controls share a 4 mm plate that is also the heat sink. Nothing to open, nothing to rattle.

    1. Balanced inputs

    XLR and TRS side by side, both electronically balanced at +4 dBu. There is no unbalanced RCA input: in real studios it hums.

    2. Room EQ and gain

    Switches shelve the bass for wall or corner placement and tilt the top end; the trim sets gain in 1 dB detents.

    3. Passive heat sink

    Nineteen machined fins hold the amplifier at 41 °C after an hour at full output. No fan, so no noise floor of its own.

    4. Universal power

    An IEC inlet with a hard switch, 100 to 240 V. Auto-standby after 25 minutes of silence draws less than half a watt.

    5. Measurement plate

    The serial plate carries the unit's own response curve, laser-etched from the sweep it passed before it left the bench.

§06General notes

Read before ordering.

  1. When do reserved pairs ship?

    Batch 3 leaves the workshop in March 2027. The $150 deposit is refunded in full if you cancel before we email your serial numbers.

  2. Will they suit a small room?

    They were tuned for rooms of 9 to 20 m². In a corner, set the bass switch to −4 dB; the sheet in the box shows the curve for every switch position.

  3. Can I use them for listening at home?

    Yes, with a preamp or an interface with balanced outputs. They are flat by design, so most records will sound leaner than on consumer speakers.

  4. What does the warranty cover?

    Drivers, amplifier and cabinet for five years, with shipping both ways in the UK, EU and US. The rear plate is serviced without opening the cabinet.

  5. Is there a darker finish?

    Graphite: a 2K lacquer over the same birch ply, $80 more per monitor. Choose it at checkout; it adds two weeks.

Hear them in your own room for thirty days.

If they don't measure up where you mix, send them back on our label and we refund everything, deposit included.
