# Data Globe

> A desk globe drawn in code, with your own records travelling over it. On light pages it is a varnished printed globe: water lines engraved along every coast, coasts hand-coloured, the equator as a degree scale and a window reflected in the varnish. On dark pages the same map is cut in brass under a lamp. An engraved brass meridian ring holds it on its tilted axis. Each route is a twisted silk thread that rises from one city, travels with its shadow sliding over the map, lands with two stamp rings and dries into a dashed printed route. The headline sits on the globe's limb and the threads cross in front of its letters. Land comes from Natural Earth, public domain. Drag to turn it; it loops every 18 seconds.

- Output: Web, Paper or brass desk globe with your routes as threads · page + embed · 1080p loop
- Price: $4.99 one-time, or included in Pro

## What you need

- Node.js 18 or newer. Nothing to install.
- Chrome, Chromium or Edge, for the checks and the recording (set `CHROME_PATH` if it isn't found).
- ffmpeg, for the video (or set `FFMPEG_PATH`).
- Internet access when the page is opened, for three.js and the fonts (pinned with integrity hashes).

## Install

```bash
curl -fsSL https://lookbk.dev/cli.js | node - add data-globe-hero
```

The first run prints a sign-in link; open it, approve, and run the command again. Pro skills install for accounts that bought them or have Pro.

Where it installs:

- Run by Claude Code: `~/.claude/skills/data-globe-hero` only, the one folder Claude Code reads.
- From your own terminal: `~/.agents/skills/data-globe-hero`, which Codex, Gemini CLI, Copilot CLI, Cursor and OpenCode read, and also `~/.claude/skills/data-globe-hero` when `~/.claude` exists.

Add `--claude` or `--shared` to write only one of those folders, or `--project` to install into the current folder instead. Start a new agent session afterwards so it picks up the skill.
