# Sketch to Ship Film

> A 30-second launch film that tells "from idea to shipped". It opens on textured paper, where a pencil writes your first line by hand and draws your main screen as a wireframe, with notes and arrows in the margin. Then the real interface wipes in box by box over the sketch and the paper falls away to your hero line in bold type. Three features each go from a taped pencil sketch to the real screen, and on the end card the pencil traces your logo before the colour inks it in. The wireframes are worked out from your own screenshots, and an original 100 BPM soundtrack puts a pencil scratch, whoosh or chime on every beat.

## What you need

- Node.js 22 or newer and FFmpeg (with `ffprobe`) on the PATH.
- Chrome, Chromium or Edge, only if you take the screenshots with `capture.mjs`. Set `CHROME_PATH` if it isn't in the usual place.
- HyperFrames runs through `npx`, pinned to the version this template was tested with: `npx --yes hyperframes@0.8.192`. The first render downloads a headless Chrome of its own. If `render` says Chrome is missing, run `npx --yes hyperframes@0.8.192 browser ensure` once.
- Network access to `fonts.googleapis.com` (Caveat, Inter Tight, Inter) and `cdn.jsdelivr.net` (GSAP). See Troubleshooting if either is blocked.

## Install

The first run prints a sign-in link; open it, approve, and run the command again. Pro skills install for accounts that bought them or have Pro.

Where it installs:

- Run by Claude Code: `~/.claude/skills/sketch-to-ship-film` only, the one folder Claude Code reads.
- From your own terminal: `~/.agents/skills/sketch-to-ship-film`, which Codex, Gemini CLI, Copilot CLI, Cursor and OpenCode read, and also `~/.claude/skills/sketch-to-ship-film` when `~/.claude` exists.

Add `--claude` or `--shared` to write only one of those folders, or `--project` to install into the current folder instead. Start a new agent session afterwards so it picks up the skill.
