# This or That Short

> A "This or That" poll short for TikTok, Reels and Shorts that plays like a sheet of die-cut stickers slapped onto the screen on the beat, with its own original soundtrack. A hook card opens it, then 3 to 6 rounds: two options slam in from opposite sides and split the screen, a VS badge stamps the seam and a ring counts 3-2-1 on the next three beats. Then the vote reveals, with a tug-of-war bar filling to your shares while the winner grows and the loser crumples, or a sticker asks viewers to comment their pick. Options are words with a sticker from a built-in set of 29 icons, or your own photo. The brand, follow button and handle are stamped on the music's final hit.

## What you need

- Node.js 22 or newer and FFmpeg (with `ffprobe`) on the PATH.
- HyperFrames through `npx`, pinned: `npx --yes hyperframes@0.8.192`. If `render` says Chrome is missing, run `npx --yes hyperframes@0.8.192 browser ensure` once.
- Network access to `fonts.googleapis.com` (Bricolage Grotesque) and `cdn.jsdelivr.net` (GSAP). See Troubleshooting if either is blocked.

## Install

The first run prints a sign-in link; open it, approve, and run the command again. Pro skills install for accounts that bought them or have Pro.

Where it installs:

- Run by Claude Code: `~/.claude/skills/this-or-that-short` only, the one folder Claude Code reads.
- From your own terminal: `~/.agents/skills/this-or-that-short`, which Codex, Gemini CLI, Copilot CLI, Cursor and OpenCode read, and also `~/.claude/skills/this-or-that-short` when `~/.claude` exists.

Add `--claude` or `--shared` to write only one of those folders, or `--project` to install into the current folder instead. Start a new agent session afterwards so it picks up the skill.
