The short answer
MotionSites is a library of ready-to-use prompts for AI website builders such as Lovable, Bolt, Cursor and Claude. Lookbk is a library of agent skills: folders with instructions, templates and scripts that an agent like Claude Code, Codex or Cursor installs and runs on your machine. Pick prompts if you build in a browser-based builder. Pick skills if you want the same result every time, with checks, an embed and a video.
Both MotionSites and Lookbk help you get an animated hero section out of an AI tool. They do it in different ways, and that difference decides which one fits you. This page describes MotionSites only from its own site.
What each one is
A prompt and a skill are different things
A prompt is a description. You paste it, the model writes code, and the result depends on the model, the tool and the run. That is quick, works in almost any AI builder, and is fine for exploring.
A skill is a recipe the agent follows. It is a folder with a SKILL.md, plus the files the agent needs: a template that holds the design, scripts that fill it in and check it, and examples. The agent loads it when your request matches, so you ask in plain words and don’t paste anything. Because the design lives in the template, the second run looks like the first. What are agent skills? explains the format.
A prompt is better when…
- You build in Lovable, Bolt or another browser-based builder.
- You want to explore many looks quickly and fix things by hand.
- You can’t install Node.js or run scripts where you work.
A skill is better when…
- You use a coding agent such as Claude Code, Codex or Cursor.
- You want the same, checked result each time, in your brand.
- You also want an embed for your site and a video for launch posts.
What a Lookbk hero skill does
Take Roller Diner Hero, which is free. Your agent writes one hero.json with your words and links. The build checks every length and writes a page and a paste-in embed. A recorder then makes a 1080p MP4 with sound. The film ships with the skill, and the waitress is cut out of every frame so she skates in front of the words.
The Motion Heroes draw their animation in code, from a shader sky to a scripted product tour. The Footage Heroes play generated retro film, most with the headline behind the subject. See the best hero animations for Claude Code for how they compare.
What it costs
MotionSites’ home page didn’t state prices when we checked, so see its site for the current ones. Lookbk has free skills, single skills at $6.90, Pro at $19 a month for 10 Pro skills a month or $99 a year with no monthly limit, and a Founding Lifetime pass at $199 for the first 100 buyers. No Lookbk skill calls an AI model or asks for an API key. See pricing for the details.
Common questions
- Can I use a Lookbk skill in Lovable or Bolt?
- Lookbk skills need an agent that reads skill folders and can run Node.js and Chrome on your machine, such as Claude Code, Codex or Cursor. Lovable and Bolt aren’t among the agents we document, so check their own docs first.
- Can I use the result in a React or Next.js site?
- Yes. Each hero writes a self-contained page and an embed you can paste into any site. Ask your agent to wrap the embed in a component for your framework.
- Is there a free hero to try?
- Yes. Roller Diner Hero is free, and so is Waitlist Glow, a one-screen waitlist page with a real sign-up form.
