Footage Heroes: video background heroes

Website heroes built on five seconds of generated retro footage, from a 1950s diner to a 1980s arcade. In seven of the eight, a giant headline sits behind the subject, which is cut out of every frame and drawn over the words. Your agent in Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another SKILL.md agent writes one hero.json with your words and links, and the build writes a page, an embed and a 1080p MP4 with sound.

Questions

Can I put my own video in a Footage Hero?

No. The film and the matte that cuts out its subject were made together, so the words, numbers and links are yours but the footage stays as it is. To build a hero around your own clip, see Scroll Film Hero in the Motion Heroes series.

Which agents can use the Footage Heroes skills?

Any agent that reads SKILL.md folders, including Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Gemini CLI and OpenCode. Paste the install prompt from a skill page into your agent, or run the one-line command in a terminal.

Are the Footage Heroes skills free?

Roller Diner Hero is free with a Lookbk account. The others are Pro: buy one once for $6.90, or get Pro for $19 a month (10 Pro skills a month) or $99 a year.
