Connect OpenClaw
Connect to Lookbook so you can install agent skills for me. Run: curl -fsSL https://lookbk.dev/cli.js | node - login It prints a link and a code. Show them to me, and when I say I approved it, run the same command again. Then run: curl -fsSL https://lookbk.dev/cli.js | node - whoami

How to install a skill in OpenClaw
Where the skill lives
A skill is one folder with a SKILL.md inside. OpenClaw reads the folders below, as its own docs describe them.
- Every project
~/.agents/skills/~/.openclaw/skills/- One project
<workspace>/skills/<workspace>/.agents/skills/
Where the skill lives
- ~/.agents/skills/
- kinetic-title-drop/
- SKILL.md
- scripts/
- template/
- your-project/
- <workspace>/skills/
- kinetic-title-drop/
- SKILL.md
- scripts/
- template/
- ~/.agents/skills is read only when OpenClaw uses its default state directory. Codex’s own skills folder is not read. Source
- Skills are snapshotted when a session starts, so start a new session to pick up a new one. Source
- Agent allowlists can hide a skill from an agent wherever it is installed. Source
Install routes
Pick one. Lookbook has not recorded a run in OpenClaw, so each route is marked by what OpenClaw’s docs say it reads.
- Also works
Paste the install prompt
- 1Copy the prompt and paste it into OpenClaw.
- 2Approve the sign-in in your browser, the first time only.
- 3Ask OpenClaw to install any skill by name.
Run from OpenClaw, the installer writes ~/.agents/skills/, a folder OpenClaw’s docs list. Lookbook has not recorded a run in OpenClaw.
- Recommended
Download the ZIP
- 1Open a skill’s page and choose Download ZIP.
- 2Unzip it into the folder below.
- 3Ask OpenClaw to use the skill.
~/.agents/skills/ - Also works
Install in one project
- 1Open the project’s folder in a terminal or file manager.
- 2Unzip the skill into the folder below, inside the project.
- 3Open the project in OpenClaw.
<workspace>/skills/
What are OpenClaw skills?
A skill is a folder with a SKILL.md file: a name, a description and the steps to follow, plus any scripts or templates the job needs.
Lookbook skills are built this way. Each one turns a request such as “make a launch film” or “build a landing page” into steps OpenClaw can follow, and ships the files they need. You put one in ~/.agents/skills/ and OpenClaw can use it.

Ask: “Build a Frosted Glass hero for our site with our logo, colours and headline, and record a 1080p video of it for the launch post.”
Questions about OpenClaw skills
Where does OpenClaw keep its skills?
OpenClaw’s docs name ~/.agents/skills/ or ~/.openclaw/skills/ for every project, and <workspace>/skills/ or <workspace>/.agents/skills/ inside one project.
How do I add a Lookbook skill to OpenClaw?
Paste the connect prompt into OpenClaw, approve the sign-in once, then ask for a skill by name. Or download the ZIP from the skill’s page and unzip it into ~/.agents/skills/.
Does OpenClaw read the same skill folders as other agents?
OpenClaw’s docs list ~/.agents/skills/, which 16 other agents on Lookbook also list: Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Gemini CLI, OpenCode, Windsurf and 10 more. A skill there is one copy for all of them.
Where is my OpenClaw workspace?
The default is ~/.openclaw/workspace, so a workspace skill lives in ~/.openclaw/workspace/skills by default, per the docs’ own example.
Have Lookbook’s skills been tested in OpenClaw?
Lookbook has not recorded a run in OpenClaw. The skills follow the open SKILL.md format, which OpenClaw’s docs say it reads. Whether a skill’s own scripts run depends on the tools on your machine, listed on each skill page under What you need.
The facts about OpenClaw come from its own documentation. Read it here.
Skills for every agent you use
The same SKILL.md folder reaches every agent below that reads it. Each page shows where that agent looks.
