What are Windsurf skills?
A skill is a folder with a SKILL.md file: a name, a description and the steps to follow, plus any scripts or templates the job needs. A skill’s body is not in the system prompt. Only its name and description are, until the skill is invoked.
Lookbk skills are built this way. Each one turns a request such as “make a launch film” or “build a landing page” into steps Windsurf can follow, and ships the files they need. You put one in ~/.config/devin/skills/ and Windsurf can use it.

Where does Windsurf keep its skills?
Windsurf’s docs name ~/.config/devin/skills/, ~/.codeium/windsurf/skills/ or ~/.agents/skills/ for every project, and .devin/skills/ or .agents/skills/ inside one project.
How do I add a Lookbk skill to Windsurf?
Paste the connect prompt into Windsurf, approve the sign-in once, then ask for a skill by name. Or download the ZIP from the skill’s page and unzip it into ~/.config/devin/skills/.
Does Windsurf read the same skill folders as other agents?
Windsurf’s docs list ~/.agents/skills/, which 16 other agents on Lookbk also list: Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Gemini CLI, OpenCode, OpenClaw and 10 more. A skill there is one copy for all of them.
Is Windsurf now called Devin Desktop?
Yes. Cognition’s FAQ says Devin Desktop is the new name for Windsurf, with the same editor and features. Search for either name.
Have Lookbk’s skills been tested in Windsurf?
Lookbk has not recorded a run in Windsurf. The skills follow the open SKILL.md format, which Windsurf’s docs say it reads. Whether a skill’s own scripts run depends on the tools on your machine, listed on each skill page under What you need.
