The short answer
Install Investor Memo Deck in Claude Code, Codex or Cursor, give your agent your memo and a metrics file, and ask for a pitch deck. It writes a sentence headline for every slide, draws the traction and retention charts from your numbers, checks that the market size and use of funds add up, and hands you a browser deck, a PDF and an editable PowerPoint file.
Most AI presentation makers are web apps: you type a prompt, it writes slides in its own editor, and you export. An AI pitch deck generator that runs as an agent skill works the other way round. The design lives in a template, your agent fills it from the files you already have, and scripts check the result before you see it. The deck is a set of files on your machine, not a document in someone else’s app.
How the pitch deck generator works
Step 1: Install the skill
Paste the install prompt from the skill page into your agent, or run the command in a terminal. It works in Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and other agents that read SKILL.md folders.
TerminalStep 2: Give it your material
A memo or notes in plain text, and your numbers as a CSV: revenue or orders by month, retention by cohort, prices and costs. The more of the story is in the memo, the less your agent has to ask.
Step 3: Ask for the deck
Describe it in plain words. Your agent writes
deck.json, one entry per slide, from the skill’s fixed layouts.PromptStep 4: Let the checks run
The build draws every chart from your data, adds up the market size and the use of funds, and lays out each slide in headless Chrome to catch text that runs off the slide, overlaps or is too faint, before handoff.
What you get: HTML deck, PDF and editable PPTX
A browser deck
One self-contained HTML file that presents in any browser, with arrow keys, an overview, presenter notes and full screen.
A PDF to send
The version investors open from an email, one page per slide, with the charts as sharp vectors.
An editable PowerPoint
Real text boxes and your speaker notes, so you can change a line in PowerPoint, Keynote or Google Slides.
The slides follow the order investors read in: the company in one sentence, the problem, why now, traction, retention, a bottom-up market size, unit economics, competition, the team and the ask. Pitch deck examples shows two full decks it built, a seed round and a Series A.
AI slide generator or presentation maker?
An AI slide generator writes slides from a prompt. A presentation maker gives you an editor to arrange them. For a pitch deck the part that matters most is neither: it is whether the numbers on the slides are right and the story holds. That is why Investor Memo Deck keeps your numbers as data, draws every chart from them and checks the arithmetic, instead of asking a model to draw figures into a picture.
When the deck is for a launch or a demo day rather than a fundraise, Glass Keynote Deck builds a stage look: frosted glass over glowing gradients, big numbers and animated transitions in the browser. Swiss Grid Deck is free and suits a short, type-led pitch.
A Gamma alternative that runs in your agent
Pick Gamma if you want to work in a browser editor and share a link from there. Pick a deck skill if you already work in Claude Code, Codex or Cursor, want the deck as files you own, and want the numbers checked.
What it costs
Swiss Grid Deck is free. Investor Memo Deck and Glass Keynote Deck are Pro skills: $4.99 each on their own, or Pro at $9.99 a month for 10 Pro skills a month, or $79 a year with no monthly limit. See pricing.
Common questions
- Does it check my numbers?
- It checks what can be checked: that the bottom-up market size multiplies out, that the use of funds adds up to the amount you raise, and that every chart is drawn from the numbers in
deck.jsonrather than by hand. It can’t tell whether the numbers in your file are true. - Can I edit the deck in PowerPoint or Google Slides?
- Yes. The PPTX has real text boxes and your speaker notes, and it opens in PowerPoint, Keynote and Google Slides. You can also ask your agent to change
deck.jsonand build again, which keeps the design intact. - Can I turn the pitch into a video?
- Sunrise Pitch Hero plays a short pitch by itself on your website’s hero and records a 1080p MP4 of it for posts. It takes your title, one figure, three points and a closing line.
- Is there a free pitch deck template?
- Swiss Grid Deck is free and builds the same three files. Write your own ask slide, since its examples are talks rather than fundraises.
