40-second example rendered by this skill from examples/nightly · 1280×720

What you get

  • Six glossy inflatable vinyl characters as transparent cut-outs, with names, colors and a matching set
  • A 40 s MP4 at 1080p or 4K, every move on the beat
  • An original soundtrack written by code, with a sound on every drop, press and pop, free to use
  • Your logo, hero line, three screens, three steps and URL, checked for length before the render
  • The mate closest to your brand color presses the button; banners and pins take your accent
  • Two made-up example films to start from
  • Open-source licenses for every part it builds on

Good fit

  • Summer launches, creator tools and newsletters can open on a bright pool deck with glossy toys that read well on a phone.
  • Consumer apps with a pink, blue or orange palette get a pool toy in that color to press the button.
  • Teams that want one playful launch clip for X, LinkedIn and YouTube get it from one brief, with an original soundtrack.

Not for

  • Serious or corporate brands (see Launch Film: Porcelain)
  • Films longer than 40 seconds or more than three features
  • Vertical or square social cuts (16:9 only)

About this skill

A 40-second launch film starring six glossy inflatable vinyl toys: an inflatable lemon, a whale, a flamingo float, a sprinkled donut ring, a crocodile and an orange slice. They drop onto a sunny pool deck on the beat, hang a banner with your logo, carry in three real screenshots, jump on a big button in your brand color for three steps, hold up three signs and jump on the final hit under confetti. It comes with its own beat-synced toy-pop soundtrack and sound effects.

FAQ

Do I have to animate anything?

No. The six scenes are fixed and timed to a 120 BPM cue sheet. You write a short brief with your name, mark, color, two hero lines, three features with screenshots, three steps, three signs and an end line, and make-film.mjs renders the MP4.

Where does the music come from?

music.mjs writes it: a 40 second toy-pop track with ukulele, glockenspiel, bass and soft drums, with a sound on every drop, press, pop and the confetti, all placed on the same cue sheet as the picture. It is generated by code in the package, so you may use it anywhere. You can also pass your own licensed track in the brief.

Can I change the Float Crew characters?

The six characters and the set ship as files in template/crew: transparent WebP cut-outs, a crew.json with each name, color and height, a theme.css for the glossy inflatable vinyl look and the stage photo. You can swap a character for your own cut-out of the same kind and list it in crew.json.

Which agents is Float Crew Launch Film written for?

Any agent that reads SKILL.md folders, including Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Gemini CLI and OpenCode.

Do I own what I make with it?

Yes. Everything your agent makes with this skill is yours, including for client and commercial work.

What if it doesn’t work for me?

What Lookbk adds on top of heygen-com/hyperframes (Apache-2.0): Lookbk made this package from scratch: the Float Crew characters and set were generated and cut out for Lookbk, and the six-scene choreography, cue sheet, music generator and brief checker were written for it on HyperFrames.
