Cadence's 8-scene launch film at 100 BPM

This 60-second clip is a launch film for Cadence with 8 scenes, cut to 100 BPM. The Launch Film: Porcelain skill rendered it from examples/cadence-launch/brief.json in its package. Every field of that file is listed below.

The brand and web addresses in this example are made up. The .example ending is a reserved name that never leads to a real site.

What happens in this clip

Cadence is a scheduling product, and the film opens on its title scene: the kicker “Meet”, the name “Cadence” and the line “Scheduling that respects everyone’s week”. The problem scene stacks three lines, “Seven people.”, “Four time zones.” and “One meeting nobody can book.”, over four bars, while eight chips such as “Sorry, that’s 3 am here” and “Can we push 30 min?” appear.

Four product scenes follow. Find a time, “Seven calendars, one answer”, calls out “All 7 free”. Booking pages, “Guests book only what works”, moves from a booking screen to a confirmation screen and calls out “Invite sent”. Mobile, “Book from any phone”, uses a phone frame on the right and calls out “Works for all four”. Focus time, “Your deep work stays yours”, is centred, scrolls an availability screen over four bars and calls out “9 of 10 h protected”.

A features scene, “The rest of your week, handled”, lists six items: time zones, focus time, one booking link, every calendar, gentle reminders and round robin. The end card reads “Cadence 1.0 is here” and “Free for teams of any size until March.”, with cadence.example as the call to action.

Compared with Relay

Relay, the other film from this skill, is set to tempo 96 and Cadence to tempo 100. Cadence’s brief gives a ground of #eceae5, near-black ink #1c1b19 and a green accent, #2f7d5b; Relay’s gives #e7eaee and a blue accent, #4c6fff. Cadence has four product scenes (find a time, booking pages, mobile, focus time) where Relay has five (inbox, drafts, assign, insights, mobile). Cadence’s problem scene has three lines over four bars, and Relay’s has two lines and no bars. Cadence’s phone frame is on the right and Relay’s is on the left.

How the film is built

In order, the film is a title scene, a problem scene, four product scenes that each carry a callout, a six-item features scene and an end card with a web address. One scene uses a phone frame and one uses a scrolling screen, both set in the brief, so the same template can carry a different product by editing that file.
