What you get
- A 1080×1920 MP4 poll short with its own beat-synced music, or 1080×1080 with its own square layout
- An original soundtrack with sound effects on every slam, count and reveal, synthesised on your machine, with nothing to license
- 3 to 6 rounds, each 8 beats: slam, VS stamp, 3-2-1 ring, then the vote bars or a comment sticker
- A built-in set of 29 sticker icons drawn in code, or your own photos per option
- An end card with your brand, a follow button and your handle on the final hit
- A brief checker that refuses vote shares that do not add up, and a pasteable PROMPT.md for Claude Code or Codex
- Open-source licenses for every part it builds on
Good fit
- A brand that wants a weekly engagement post its followers answer in the comments.
- A café, shop or app that has real poll results from Stories or a survey and wants them as a fun reel.
- A team that wants a native-looking vertical short without filming anything.
Not for
- Live polls or results that update after posting
- More than two options per round
- Long questions: each round title is a few words
- Vocals or a licensed hit song, since the music is synthesised
About this skill
A "This or That" poll short for TikTok, Reels and Shorts that plays like a sheet of die-cut stickers slapped onto the screen on the beat, with its own original soundtrack. A hook card opens it, then 3 to 6 rounds: two options slam in from opposite sides and split the screen, a VS badge stamps the seam and a ring counts 3-2-1 on the next three beats. Then the vote reveals, with a tug-of-war bar filling to your shares while the winner grows and the loser crumples, or a sticker asks viewers to comment their pick. Options are words with a sticker from a built-in set of 29 icons, or your own photo. The brand, follow button and handle are stamped on the music's final hit.
Example request
Make a This or That poll short for our brand: five rounds of two options each with a VS badge and a 3-2-1 countdown, showing our follower vote shares, one round asking people to comment, ending on our handle with a follow button.
How it works
Your agent
- 1
Make the project
- 2
Get the rounds
Ask the person for 3 to 6 match-ups.
- 3
Pick colours
Every colour must read at 4.5:1 with
paperorink(apply-briefchecks). - 4
Write the brief
Create
brief.jsonin the project. - 5
Apply the brief
It checks the whole brief and lists every problem at once with the fix: a label over its limit, an icon not in the set, a photo that is missing, votes that don't add up to 100, a colour the text can't be read on, a round count or tempo that can't fit in 25 s.
- 6
Check
"ok": truemeans it can render. - 7
Look before you render
Run the
snapshotcommandapply-briefprinted: the hook, round 1 counting down, each round's result held, and the end card. - 8
Render
It runs the layout gate, renders with the pinned HyperFrames, checks the track and its stems with
scripts/music/check.mjs(A1 to A11), muxes it as AAC with a true-peak limiter at -1 dBTP (if FFmpeg's AAC encoder writes a click over -1 dBTP, it muxes again at 256k, then 224k), and checks the MP4. - 9
Hand it off
Give the person the MP4 and two stills: the first round's result and the end card.

Write a reviewFAQ
Do I need real vote numbers?
Only for vote rounds, and they must be yours: the brief takes two whole-number shares that add up to 100 and the checker refuses anything else. Without numbers, set a round to comment mode and a sticker asks viewers to comment their pick instead.
Can I use my own pictures?
Yes. Each option takes a word or two plus either one of the 29 built-in sticker icons drawn in code (coffee, food, day and night, code, devices and more) or a path to your own photo, which is cut into a sticker tile with an outline and shadow.
How long is the short?
Each round is 8 beats, plus the hook and the end card, so 3 rounds run about 15 s and 6 rounds about 25 s depending on the tempo. The film is laid out on the beat grid of its own generated track, and the brand lands on the final hit.
Which agents is This or That Short written for?
Any agent that reads SKILL.md folders, including Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Gemini CLI and OpenCode.
Do I own what I make with it?
Yes. Everything your agent makes with this skill is yours, including for client and commercial work.
What if it doesn’t work for me?
Email support@lookbk.dev within 7 days of buying and we’ll fix it or refund you.
Credits and licensesBuilt on heygen-com/hyperframes
What Lookbk adds on top of heygen-com/hyperframes (Apache-2.0): Lookbk wrote this package, its icon set and its music generator; it renders with HyperFrames (Apache-2.0) and GSAP (Standard License), sets type in Bricolage Grotesque (SIL Open Font License 1.1), and the brands and votes in its examples are invented.
Credits and licenses for the open-source software and fonts it uses are in NOTICE.md inside the download.
