What you get
- A 1080p MP4: about 31 s for 4 highlighted routes, 27 s for 3 and 35 s for 5, at 120 BPM
- Arcs along great circles, weighted by value, that fade behind the horizon at the edge of the globe
- A callout for each highlighted route: route code, distance, city, number, your story and a % of network meter
- A pull-back where every route lands with rings and counted tags while the total counts up
- A planet-rise end card with the routes arching over the curve and your brand, tagline and URL
- Two looks, night and paper, each with an original soundtrack written by code, and two made-up example films
- Open-source licenses for every part it builds on
Good fit
- Logistics, airline and shipping teams can show a hub network with the weight of every lane in one film.
- Nonprofits and member groups can map where their seed, donations or members go, on a cream paper globe.
- Exporters and marketplaces get a from-here-to-the-world film for an annual report, an investor update or a launch.
Not for
- Fewer than 6 or more than 10 destinations, or more than one hub
- Routes that do not fit on one side of the globe, about 7,000 km either way from the middle
- Vertical or square social cuts (16:9 only)
About this skill
A data film about one place reaching many, on a slowly turning dot-matrix globe. Glowing arcs fly from your hub along great circles to 6 to 10 destinations, each one as thick and bright as its value, and every landing rings the city and counts up its tag. The camera pushes in on 3 to 5 highlighted routes for big stat callouts with the city, the number, your story and its share of the network, then pulls back so every route lands while the total counts up. It ends on a planet-rise card with your brand. The globe is drawn with plain canvas maths over Natural Earth land, in a night or a paper look, with an original soundtrack locked to the picture.

Make a Globe Arcs Film of our night cargo network for https://nightjar.example: ten routes out of Singapore in tonnes a week, with close-ups on Nairobi, Hong Kong, Tokyo and Sydney.
How it works
Your agent
- 1
Ask for the network
Get one hub and 6 to 10 destinations.
- 2
Write the brief
Start from
<skill>/examples/nightline/brief.json(night look) or<skill>/examples/seedline/brief.json(paper look). - 3
Make the film
It copies the template, checks the brief (every problem at once, with the field and the limit), works out the routes, the camera and the beat sheet, writes the soundtrack on that beat sheet and renders
my-film/renders/<name>-1080p.mp4. - 4
Check it before you hand it over
Look at the stills: every callout fits, tags do not cover each other, every route is visible in the reveal.
- 5
Change the look, timing or music
Colours:
colors.accent,colors.bg,colors.landin the brief; the two looks are defined inLOOKSinscripts/apply-brief.mjs.

You get

What you need
- Node.js 22 or newer and FFmpeg on the PATH.
- HyperFrames through
npx, pinned:npx --yes hyperframes@0.8.192. The first render downloads its own headless Chrome (npx --yes hyperframes@0.8.192 browser ensureif it says Chrome is missing). - Network access to
fonts.googleapis.comandcdn.jsdelivr.net(GSAP) while rendering. If jsDelivr is blocked, setGSAP_FILEto a localgsap.min.js(3.14.2) andmake-film.mjsuses it. - From the user: the hub, 6 to 10 destinations with latitude, longitude and one number each, which 3 to 5 routes to tell a story about (a title and a line each), the unit, the brand name, tagline and URL. Ask whether the numbers are real; if they are not, the note must say "illustrative data".
Last checked Nov 2, 2026: the package’s own build and render commands ran and passed.
If something goes wrong
apply-brief says the destinations do not fit on one side of the globe.
No single view shows every route. Drop the city it names, or split the network into two films with two hubs.
A city name or number looks smaller than the others.
It was shrunk to fit the column; long names stop at 72 px and print
[globe-arcs] text too long. Use a shorter name ("Dar es Salaam" fits, "Ciudad de Mexico" is tight). Two tags overlap in the reveal.
Cities closer than about 300 km crowd the same spot. Merge them or leave the smaller one out.

How many routes fit?
One hub and 6 to 10 destinations, each with a code, a city, latitude, longitude and one value. Between 3 and 5 of them get a close-up with a title and one line of story.
What if my cities are spread across the world?
Every route must fit on one side of the globe, about 7,000 km either way from the middle of the network. If they do not, the brief check names the city to drop, or you can split the network into two films with two hubs.
Where does the map come from?
The land is Natural Earth, public domain, bundled as a dot grid, and the globe is drawn with plain canvas maths. Nothing is fetched at render time except the fonts and GSAP.
Which agents is Globe Arcs Film written for?
Any agent that reads SKILL.md folders, including Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Gemini CLI and OpenCode.
Do I own what I make with it?
Yes. Everything your agent makes with this skill is yours, including for client and commercial work.
What if it doesn’t work for me?
Email support@lookbk.dev within 7 days of buying and we’ll fix it or refund you.

What Lookbk adds on top of heygen-com/hyperframes (Apache-2.0): Lookbk wrote this package from scratch on HyperFrames: the sphere maths and dot globe, the arc and camera choreography, the callouts, the brief checks and the soundtrack generator. The land is Natural Earth, public domain.
