4 images made by this skill from examples/harbourline and examples/greenhour
What you get
- Up to 24 scenes from one dioramas.json, four to a sheet
- Three bases: a square slab, a round disc or a floating island
- 1024 px transparent PNGs with a soft shadow, plus 512 and 256 px and 800 px WebP
- A feature-section page and image with your headline, titles and text
- Checks for a missing or merged scene, stray objects and odd scale
- Open-source licenses for every part it builds on
Good fit
- Startups can give each feature on the landing page its own little isometric world in the brand palette.
- Product teams can make onboarding and empty-state art that matches the feature illustrations on the site.
- Designers can generate a set of four from one sheet, then add more later that match sheet 1.
Not for
- Scenes with screens, signs, words or logos in them
- Flat 2D illustration styles
- Exact maps or architectural drawings of real places
About this skill
Little isometric 3D worlds, one per feature, for landing-page feature sections, onboarding and empty states. An image model makes them four to a sheet on a square slab, a round disc or a floating island, so they share one camera, light and scale, and every later sheet copies the first. The script cuts each scene out with its soft shadow and builds a feature-section page with your titles.
Example request
Make isometric diorama illustrations for the four features of our shipping app: pack, ship, track and deliver.
How it works
Your agent
- 1
Pick the scenes
Ask what the product does and turn each feature into a small physical place where it happens: "Track parcels" becomes
a tiny delivery van driving along a curving road through a small hill with a few round trees and a little bridge. - 2
Write
dioramas.jsonCopy
examples/harbourline/dioramas.json(shipping app, square slabs) orexamples/greenhour/dioramas.json(gardening app, floating islands, six scenes on two sheets) and change it. - 3
Generate and build
It checks
dioramas.jsonfirst and lists every problem with its fix. - 4
Look, then fix single sheets
Open
features.html: the scenes should read as one family next to real headings.

What you need
- Node.js 18 or newer. Nothing to install.
- Chrome, Chromium or Edge (the script finds it; set
CHROME_PATHif it doesn't). It does the cut-out and the pages. - An image key in the environment:
GEMINI_API_KEY(Gemini 3 Pro Image, "Nano Banana Pro", the default and what made the examples) orOPENAI_API_KEY(GPT Image). Without a key, the script writesprompts.mdand you make the sheets in any image app and drop them insheets/.
Last checked Nov 2, 2026: the package’s own build and render commands ran and passed.
If something goes wrong
"No image key"
Set
GEMINI_API_KEYorOPENAI_API_KEY, or make the sheets by hand fromprompts.md.A scene has a ring of backdrop colour or a hole
The backdrop wasn't flat on that sheet.
--regenit; leavingbackgroundout picks a backdrop that separates better.Sheet 2 doesn't match sheet 1
--regen=2usually fixes it. OpenAI's edit endpoint follows a reference less closely than Gemini.

How do the scenes stay consistent?
They are made four to a sheet, so one image gives them the same camera, light, materials and scale, and every later sheet is generated with sheet 1 attached as the reference.
Can I use them on a dark page?
Yes. Each scene is cut out onto transparency with its soft shadow kept as real transparency, so it sits on light or dark backgrounds; index.html shows the set on both.
Does it need an image model?
Yes: Gemini 3 Pro Image or GPT Image with your key. Without a key it writes prompts.md, and you make the sheets in any image app and drop them in sheets/; the cut-out and exports run the same way.
Which agents is Isometric Diorama Set written for?
Any agent that reads SKILL.md folders, including Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Gemini CLI and OpenCode.
Do I own what I make with it?
Yes. Everything your agent makes with this skill is yours, including for client and commercial work.
